Image Usage Policy
Last Updated: June 2026
WomensGo is a visual-first publication. We believe in celebrating, crediting, and promoting the work of nail artists, hairstylists, photographers, and style creators. This policy outlines how we source images and how you can contact us regarding image credits or removals.
1. Sourcing Visual Content
We source images for our trend guides from several places:
- Licenced Stock Photography: High-quality editorial and lifestyle images licenced for commercial use.
- Public Domain & Creative Commons: Visuals licensed under CC0 or similar permissions, used in accordance with their licenses.
- Social Media Curation (Fair Use/Public Embeds): In our trend roundups (e.g., "Top Short Nail Ideas"), we often reference trending nail designs or haircuts shared by public creators on Pinterest or Instagram. We always attempt to credit the original creator's social handle or profile.
2. Creator Attribution
We believe in giving credit where credit is due. If an image curated on our site belongs to you and we have not credited you, or if you prefer a different caption, link, or handle format, please let us know immediately. We will update the credits within 24–48 hours.
3. DMCA & Image Removal Requests
If you are the copyright owner of any image used on WomensGo.com and you do not wish for it to appear on our site (even with attribution), we respect your decision and will promptly remove it.
To request an image removal, please email hello@womensgo.com with the following details:
- The URL of the page containing the image.
- A description of the image in question.
- Proof of copyright ownership (e.g., link to your original social media post, blog, or website).
Once received, our editors will review and remove the image from our server and article pages within 24 hours.
